Cain Boney has a memory that goes back centuries. Most of these memories, many good (and some grim), were made alongside the Mississippi. His work contains snippets of sediment from the bottom of that river that bubbles up when he whirls up that myth-making mouth of his. On numerous occasions the muses have called him up and accused him of plagarism.
